Lipgloss Whores

I have two of them today: Lip Smacker 100% Natural and Blue Q Get Real balms.

Brand: Lip Smacker
Name: 100% Natural in Vanilla Bean
Color: No tint, goes on clear
Scent: Very buttery, rich vanilla
Taste: None
Texture: Thick, smooth, and glossy. Actually, this balm starts off a tiny bit gritty, but it melts immediately on the lips.
Packaging: Tube
Ingredients: Castor Seed Oil, Crambe Abyssinica Seed Oil, Olive Fruit Oil, Beeswax, Flavor, Carnauba Wax, Vanilla Fruit Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Soybean Lipids, Coconut Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate.
Price: $2.29
Purchased From: Ulta
Repurchase?: Maybe not this particular flavor, but I want to try the Pink Guava one (which was sold out at my Ulta). The texture is pleasant. The only thing I have to complain about with the performance of the balm is that sometimes this stuff somehow goops up all over my teeth, which is nasty. The ingredients are really nice for a Lip Smacker product, especially when you consider the low price. These are supposed to be dye, paraben, and gluten free. I didn't like how the package and tube weren't sealed at all; these should definitely be sealed if they're selling them at retail stores. And the print on the label is rubbing off in some spots already.

Brand: Blue Q
Name: Get Real in Peaches
Color: No tint, goes on clear
Scent: Very light scent of peaches
Taste: None, except maybe lightly of peaches at first
Texture: Waxy and smooth, though very 'dry' feeling
Packaging: Tube. (It comes sealed.)
Ingredients: Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Beeswax, Olive Fruit Oil, Candelilla Wax, Natural Peach Flavor, Vitamin E, Ammonium Glycyrrhizate (licorice sweetener), Soybean Oil, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Echinacea Purpurea Extract.
Price: $2.99 (on clearance; regular price was $4)
Purchased From: Ulta
Repurchase?: No. The texture of this is too dry for me. I like to feel a bit of moisture/oil on my lips. I have to mention that I bought this on clearance at Ulta, so it might be years and years old and dried up. Maybe these are better when newly made? It would probably make a nice lip balm for a man; there's barely any sheen to them when they're on the lips as well. The packaging is very nice...it really looks like they put a lot of effort into all the little sayings and whatnot.

Yay! The LipGlossWhores Photobucket account is back up, even though the mods aren't removing the spammy sales.

I wanna try the lipsmacker! I just bought some of their Easter-themed balms and I really like them.
